The
Parent, Teacher and Friends Association plays an active role
in school life. We organise regular social and fund raising
activities for both children and adults. We hold regular meetings
to which to attend and everyone's contributions and suggestions
are greatly appreciated.
Events
this year have included a summer BBQ, quizzes, children's discos
and a highly successful Christmas Fair and silent auction with
plenty more planned for the coming months. Funds raised from
these events support school in a number of ways - school trips,
visitors coming into school, such as musicians, theatre groups
and authors as well as responding to requests from the teachers
for classroom resources that they feel will benefit the children.
Parents
are welcome at all PTFA meetings, so come and support your local
school.
