Allendale
First School is a very friendly school. There are about
90 children in our school, so we all know each other very
well. We are aged between 4 and 9 years of age, (well our
teachers are a bit older!)
We have 5 teachers and 4 teaching assistants, but some mums,
dads and grans come into help and so do people from the
village. Our school is really old; it used to be a Victorian
boarding school.
We have 4 classrooms and 2 other teaching rooms where we
can bake, play the cello or work in a small group. We are
surrounded by playing fields, 3 playgrounds and a wonderful
adventure garden, which parents and villagers helped to
build.
This is what the children say about coming to Allendale
First School.
